Common and dangerous problem in gm vehicles and should be recalled and fixed without mileage limitations. The entire gauge cluster goes blank, no readings. This affects the speedometer as well as engine monitoring gauges. I feel that this is very much a safety issue. Besides the loss of speed information, without the ability to monitor the engine there is no way to know if failure is immanent. The issue has been reported in as few as 28,000 miles to over 150,000 miles. This is an unsafe defect reported by chevrolet that the do not recognize as necessary to cover for everyone. *tr
