Speedometer on 2003 silverado failed while driving to work. Glanced down at the instrument panel and noticed that i was traveling 120 mph in a school zone!!!!....obviously an error. The speedo needle is gittery and the instrument panel flickers. I'm gravely concerned that i no longer know how fast/slow i'm driving. This is a safety issue and must be addressed/resolved. *nm

I have read over 200 of the same cases with the same type of vehicle. Speedometer reads 100 when traveling at 60 mph. When in park speedometer reads over 35 mph.
