Dash board is cracking and brittle. Very sharp edges on the plastic could become a hazard during a wreck. Contacted gm and since the vehicle isn't under warranty, there isn't anything they could do. Takata recall: vehicle is under recall, but gm says it is safe to drive. Then why is it under a recall?
