Dashboard has 3 large cracks that occurred with no accidents or trauma to the vehicle. The vehicle was stationary when cracks occurred. The cracks occurred at three different times. The two smaller cracks are around the airbag housing. (see pictures)

The dashboard is cracking and falling apart. It started with cracking around the passenger side airbag. It is now cracking forward of the instrument panel. This is a safety issue if involved in a crash and the airbag deploys. I contacted gm/chevrolet and they said they cannot offer any assistance because of the mileage, 183k. In 2013 the transmission went out 2 months after 3yr warranty less than 20 thousand miles called chevy would not help me. Replaced transmission now 2017 transmission went out again.
