My module fuel pump flow control part# 20759945 is not working and for some reason it is recalled for some vins for 2008 but not mine. If it is the same part and same problem why is not recalled for all? Chevy has a tsb #14515b but company will only say engineers decide who gets the recall. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500. Upon entering the vehicle the contact smelled a strong odor of gasoline. The contact took the vehicle to an authorized dealer on 28 occasions in which they did not diagnose the failure but recommended that he replace the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 6,000 and the current mileage was 21,847.
