2008 chevrolet silverado. Consumer writes in regards to recall notice 16v-381 replacement parts and states dealership found bad connection in airbag wiring located behind seat. *smd the consumer stated the air bag light illuminated on june 13, 2012. Also, the cruise control and passenger door lock did not work. *jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500. The contact stated that the front passenger side door cannot be opened from the exterior of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed any repairs would be at the owners expense. The factory warranty had expired and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 49,000 and the current mileage was 50,000.
