Searching online it looks like there is a device bulletin that fixes these issues, but i shouldnt have to pay for a safety and common issue with this truck. Pit5405a is the bulletin number.

Headlights flicker, radio head unit flickers, error messages (service stablitrak, traction control off, reduced steering assist) doors occasionally will lock and unlock and then truck will shut off all together. Third time this has happened since new, it seems to happen at twilight as the day is ending. The headlights and dash lights go out. Nothing will get them back with the auto switch on the dash.
