I first received recall notice for abs brake system on 2001 chevrolet silverado in 2005. Immediately took vehicle to dealership on 11/1/05 and had brakes "fixed", which was simply cleaning the abs speed sensor. Mileage was 61,911. I have a 2001 chevy silverado. At about 70,000 miles (2.5 yrs ago) both the emergency brake and the abs dash lights became to come on simultaneously.
